Welcome to the Levi P. Dodge Middle School registration page for the 2026–2027 school year! Here you’ll find everything you need to plan your student’s schedule, including course descriptions, helpful forms, and step-by-step guide videos to walk you through the process.
Each grade level includes a combination of required core classes and opportunities to explore electives and fine arts. Use the resources on this page to learn about your options, understand requirements, and confidently select courses that match your student’s interests and goals.
Grade 6 students take year-long core courses in Language Arts, Mathematics, Physical Education, Minnesota Studies, Earth Science, and Tiger Connections. They also complete trimester exploratory courses (Art 6, Family & Consumer Science 6, and STEM 6) and select a full-year music course (Band, Beginning Band, Choir, or World Music).
Grade 7 students enroll in year-long Language Arts, Mathematics, Life Science, Physical Education, Tiger Connections, and U.S. History, plus a trimester of Health. Students also choose two trimester exploratory courses (Art 7, Family & Consumer Science 7, or STEM 7) and a full-year fine arts course such as Art Around the World, American Music, Band, Beginning Band, Choir, or Garage Band & Beat Making.
Grade 8 students take year-long Physical Science, Geography, Language Arts, Mathematics, Physical Education, and Tiger Connections, along with a variety of trimester electives and a required full-year fine arts elective.

Friday, January 16: High School counselors present registration materials to math classes.
January 20 – 23: Counselor/student 1 to 1 meetings. Make-up meetings - January 27 – 30.
January 16th – February 2nd: Online registration is open.
February 3rd: Registration sheets due to 8th Grade math teachers.
