Athletics & Activities
The fun doesn’t stop at the final bell!At Levi P. Dodge Middle School activities help students try new things, make friends, and show their school spirit. From leadership opportunities to special events and celebrations, there’s always something exciting happening and a place for every student to shine.
Middle School Athletics
From competitive teams to fun intramurals, middle school sports offer students a chance to stay active, build skills, and be part of a team. Students of all experience levels are welcome, with programs designed to encourage participation, growth, and school connection.
Programs vary by season and may include both school-based and community education opportunities, giving families flexible options to get involved. Be sure to check schedules and registration details to find the right fit for your student.
Community, Connections, & Celebrations (C3)
The mission of the Community, Connections, and Celebrations (C3) Group is to build a welcoming climate and culture at DMS while also celebrating what makes each student and staff unique to our community.
We plan events like Homecoming and Spring Spirit Weeks and the Talent Show and Recognition Rally. We find ways to appreciate teachers and staff in the buildings and are always looking for new ideas to make DMS a great place for everyone!

LEGO League/Robotics
Dodge has a Lego League Robotics Team. The Team will meet after school, from 3:30 - 5:30 on Mondays and Tuesdays in Ms. Lane’s room (Rm 152). Every year there is a new challenge. This year's challenge, called MasterPiece, is an arts inspired landscape adding extra creativity, and raising this STEM to STEAM.
We have had an amazing response from learners, youth mentors, adult mentors and coaches and community partners.
I can’t wait to see what this wonderful group accomplishes.

WEB - Where Everybody Belong
WEB is a middle school transition program that welcomes 6th graders and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their middle school experience. WEB, an acronym for Where Everybody Belongs, is built on the belief that students want to and can help other students succeed.
The WEB middle school transition program trains members of the 8th grade class to be WEB Leaders; as positive role models, WEB Leaders are motivators, leaders and teachers who guide 6th graders to discover what it takes to be successful in middle school. We will be having a kick-off day in August for all incoming 6th grade students to help them become part of our fabric at DMS.
WEB leader selection takes place in the spring of each year. Qualities of a WEB Leader include:
- Kindness
- Strong communications skills
- Willingness to lead others
- Responsible enough to manage a group
- Accountable to show up throughout all phases of the program during the year
- Willing to take risks
- Interest in helping others
- Positive role model
- Dedicated
- Self-confident and self-directed
- Has respect for diverse ideas and personalities
- Enthusiastic
